Coronavirus + Professional Photography: What You Need to Know

The Art of Social Distance Photo Shoots

There’s no denying it’s weird out there right now, and while everyone continues to find their footing, we want you to know what we’re doing in order to provide social distance photo shoots that you may still need this year.

Our priority is your health and safety which is why we’re committed to the following guidelines at this time:

Social Distancing

For our outdoor sessions, we use a long lens that allows us to be 6 feet away….usually many more feet!

Spaced Out Sessions

In-studio portrait sessions will be limited to 1 session a day, with at least 1 hour in between shorter sessions like headshots, in order to ensure we have time to thoroughly clean and disinfect the studio.

Thorough Sanitization

Between sessions and before we close the studio each day we wipe down all hard surfaces with disinfectant wipes, launder any materials that may come into contact with our guests, and keep the studio space meticulously clean.

Masks Required

Per current guidelines masks are required for adults inside the studio, photographers included. We ask that only the persons being photographed come to the studio (unless a parent is bringing children).

Additionally, your photographers are and have been careful to social distance, wear masks, and use proper hand hygiene in their everyday lives as well as at the studio.

Types of Sessions

We are currently scheduling in-studio headshots, maternity, newborn, and baby sessions. All family sessions, to keep the number of people inside to a minimum, will be photographed outdoors, or we are happy to schedule you for in-studio in a few months. We have several lovely outdoor locations for you to choose for your family session. We can also come to your home for an outdoor porch/yard session.
